Keeping in the spirit of Richard's blog post about needing an ISP only for the "digital pipe". When I saw this on versiontracker, this is a perfect fit for the "ISP in a Box" puzzle.
It's shareware (15 USD), but that's much cheaper than the Men & Mice software I have at the office. You know how much OS X loves DNS. Some assembly required.

In the mean time I've been testing out http://opendns.com for some time and I can tell you from my own experience it is faster. Been wanting to blog about it but you post pushed me to speed it up so here it is: http://switch.richard5.net/2006/07/24/opendns-a-good-interim-solution/

Is there a solution to compile BIND DNS on OS X?
